toy coin funnel

3 June 2003

Dear Steve,

Just wanted to write and commend you on your product. Over the last two years we have purchased 22 of your Wishing Wells and put them in our Wal-Marts and Sam's Clubs (who do fundraising for Children's Miracle Network and UNM Children's Hospital). We have found that even in our small towns (and New Mexico has a lot of those!), the Wishing Well will usually bring in an average of $250 a month. In Albuquerque, most wells bring in up to $750 a month. We have even started giving the Wal-Mart Supercenters a second well so they will have one at each of the two main entrances. We have found that doing that usually brings the revenue up by two-thirds.

So, even in the small town situation, the Wishing Well usually pays for itself in 4 or 5 months and the rest of the year is pure profit. The Wal-Mart CMN Coordinators love their wells (we had them sign a contract that they would keep the well for at least a year.....and many of them said, "Oh, you're not taking it away from us in a year, are you?"). They all say it is their easiest fundraiser. All they have to do is open it, take the money out and count it, and then give the well a once over cleaning to get it ready for the next month. Most of them say it is the anchor of their monthly fundraising plan. The Wal-Marts find that the size is not obtrusive and they are easy to place. Assembly is very easy. But, they are heavy enough and strong enough to withstand the thousands of customers (and their darling children) passing by each day.

We are now ordering 10 more wells to place in Wal-Marts and Shopping Malls and will be ordering more in the next fiscal year. We find this to be a really easy, no-brainer fundraiser and look forward to continuing our relationship with Divnick International!

Sincerely,

Danielle Sengel
